The short version
Ten to Sync does not collect personal information. Your answers are never uploaded to a server: they are encoded inside the link you create, and that link exists only where you choose to send it. The only data we collect is anonymous visit statistics, described under Analytics below.
Your answers
When you finish a round, the game packs your question numbers and answers into the part of the web address after the “#” symbol. Browsers do not send that part of the address to the server, so we never receive it. Nothing is saved in a database, in cookies, or in your browser’s storage. If the link is deleted, the answers are gone.
Analytics
Ten to Sync uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous visit data, such as the number of visitors, the pages viewed, the device type, and in-game events like starting a round or creating a link. The score from a round is sent to Google Analytics only as a number from 0 to 10, with no answers attached. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell returning visits apart and may use similar technologies for this purpose. Google processes this data under Google’s privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker, and the game still works normally without them.
Ten to Sync also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors: it measures page views and loading performance without storing any personal data or following you across sites.
Children
Ten to Sync is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
